Table sorting and styling does not work in multiexcerpt macros (new/fabric pages only)
sorting in tables inside a multiexcerpt is not possible in new editor pages.
There are other problems related to missing CSS styling in such a table. For example, background color in header cells in the table header row:
Also, the width size styling does not stay true after saving in the new page editor. No matter which width setting is chosen while in edit mode, when you click save it will resize to the absolute minimum size no matter the content of the cells in the table.
This is a limitation of Confluence's "new" pages. Use legacy pages until Atlassian provides the APIs necessary for 3rd party apps to get the CSS stylesheet for the parent page.
Atlassian does not provide the APIs for plugins to be able to style included content to be consistent with the containing page. We are working with Atlassian to ask them to provide such capability.
