Regular expression matching beta feature is disabled for panel includes

In the ME admin tool there is a "Regular Expression To Match For MultiExcerpt-Include" setting:

This is for a beta feature that allows you to include other macros besides just multiexcerpt macros.

The feature works for includes that do not have a surrounding panel but is disabled for includes that do have a surrounding panel.
